First time Disney Cruiser need some info

My sister, 2 nieces, and I are doing a 3 night Wonder Cruise July4-7 and I am wondeing what to expect, or request. Since this is a budget type trip (we are also doing another cruise with our husbands later in the year) are the excursions offered by the ship worth it? Also what rotation should we ask for (Wonder)? Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much in advance.

You can't really ask for a dining rotation, but you can ask for a dining time. The first seating is at 6 pm and the late at 8:30. You can look through different websites and find things you would like to do on your own. The ship's excursions are easy, but you can probably do it more inexpensively and more to your tastes on your own.
