So much to sort through on these boards but trying to gather the great info we have received in the past for our DL and WDW trips! Online check in for our first cruise in next week. We sail on the Wonder from Galveston to Puerto Rico on January 4th (6 night). What do I need to know! Me, DH and DD (6th bday on cruise).

Hi,

You can do your online check-in when it is 12 AM Eastern Daylight Time on the day you can start the online check-in process. If you live in a state that is not in the Eastern time zone be sure to know when you can do your check-in. For example, if you live on the West Coast, you can do your online check-in the night before because the West Coast is a couple of hours behind the East Coast. Like right now, when it is 9 PM in some states, it is 12 AM on the East Coast. Online check-in is simple and gets you really excited for your trip. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask! I have been on 6 (almost 7 Disney cruises, 4 of the cruises we have been on so far were on the beautiful Disney Wonder)! Have a great time!

You'll want to look at Port Excursions and decide if there are any you want. You'll also want to decide if you're going to do any Adult dining - we always do a Palo brunch and a Palo dinner and have already signed up for both.

We checked in already and there are still lots of spa and Palo reservations left. There are almost 200 empty cabins on our cruise so short of Disney doing a "fire sale" prior to the sailing it should be a fairly uncrowded cruise.

Awesome! I just upgraded to a concierge room today

How do you get on the waiting list? Other than having more space in a suite, do the perks make it worth it? I know regardless we'll be thrilled with our Verandah - we're not difficult to please, but we do enjoy extra Perks as well

The concierge "perks" really aren't much on the Wonder (no lounge), on this route (no Castaway Cay for early access to cabanas) or this late in the game (pre planning). For us its just about the space.

If you think you will want to eat in your room instead of the MDRs, you can order the food off the same menu as the MDRs that night and have it delivered. Also, the breakfast room service menu offers more hot items in concierge. IMO the extra room is the biggest benefit by far.

How did you find out how many empty cabins there are? Is there a site someplace I don't know about? Just wondering. Thanks!
None that I've heard of. You can do some (time-consuming) research to figure out what's available. Unless, of course, someone has an "in" at DCL that will look that for them and tell them.

With the new website you can see all available cabins by category. Yes Im a nerd that sits and counts them.

Meaning you have to select each category/location and manually count them, correct? That's what I mean by doing some time consuming research.

Yeah. its really not the bad. Just counted again and took me about 10 minutes. Cowboys game doesn't start for another hour so something to kill time.
