My family and I are taking our first Disney Cruise 4-25-04. We are staying in stateroom 8040. Is this a good quiet room??
I enjoy all of the advice I have gotten this far! Thanks!

I have been reading alot about how noisey Cat 4 is on the Wonder. Our problem is we would like to have 2 seperate beds for our 2 children. I am thinking from the postings that Cat 5 would be better (deck 7) What does everyone think? I really want Verandah (outside) Should I rebook??

Thanks

Rather than Cat. 5, I would do a Cat. 6. They are identical in every way, except that they are a deck or two lower. In any case, you will most likely have other staterooms over you on deck 7, 6, or 5, so noise isn't an issue. I know that some people like to be up high, but personally I like being as close to the water as possible so my favorite stateroom is a Cat. 6 on Deck 5. It's also all the way aft, which eliminates a lot of hallway traffic. I know a lot of people like to be midship, but the forward and aft elevators are typically much less crowded. And don't be afraid of being on deck 5 because of the kids club...you don't get any noise from that at all (you can tell I'm trying to talk you into my favorite deck :D ).

Your children would have seperate beds in a category 5 or 6. The sofa flips from the back to form a twin bed and the 4th bed fold from the ceiling to form a "top bunk" over the lower twin. The sofa bed isn't a traditional hotel sofa bed that pulls out to sleep two people.

Thanks for the info. Barb!
Do you have pictures of the room you like with the Verandah? Have you had any children sleep on the pull down bunk bed??
Have a great day!
