First time buying DVC - it is so hard to chose the home resort!!! I could use some advice.

BWV is nice, but don't think you will book two of the SV studios in the low-point months. They are walked for months and go in seconds. Get comfortable with PV points - it is still fewer points than RR

Haven't personally done it but I imagine the entire duration of food and wine which includes August-October. September is likely the worst because it's not only the cheapest time to be at WDW but also with food and wine going on. I'd imagine early December as well for the holidays and relatively cheap points.

SV studios are walked all through the fall into the holidays. Hard to get other times of the year.
