It'll be my first time staying at the Yacht Club. Asking for suggestions on where to have breakfast each day and dinner. Is their like a sit down cafe or somehting similar that I don't need to make reservations for? Thanks for your inputs:)

This topic might be better for the Disney Restaurants board :) but I would love to suggest Yachtsman Steakhouse for dinner. Reservations ARE recommended, so maybe it is not what you had in mind, but it is a Signature dining experience and definitely well worth it! Also, you will be right around the Boardwalk area, so definitely check out Beaches and Cream (I don't think you need reservations). You can grab breakfast from Boardwalk Bakery, here is a review of some of the newer items:

Hurricane Hanna's offers lunch too! It is poolside, and quick service.

Good luck and have a great time! Yacht Club is my number 1 dream destination on property!

We really enjoyed the Cape May Cafe buffet for dinner. I have heard great things about the breakfast as well.

Dolphin is super close to walk (or a boat ride) and Shula's is great and didn't seem as busy, Blue Zoo as well.

Captain's Grill is great for sit down breakfast. I loved the lemon ricotta hotcakes and the dark chocolate waffles. And of course they had my breakfast standard, eggs benedict on request.

I agree with most others. I suggest beaches and cream even if you just go for a sundae. Cape May cafe at the beach club is a great character dining experience. Also the dolphin and boardwalk are very close by and have some great dining options.

Cape May is great for breakfast, but you usually need a reservation. Captain's Grille is also a great breakfast TS breakfast option and you'll never need a ressie. You can either have the buffet or order off the menu (the french toast is delish). I've also heard great things about dinner there too. Cape May for dinner is very heavy on seafood.

Yep, Beaches and Cream(yummy), is all ADR now, walk ups can sit at the counter, but not easy to get. Yachtsman was great this past Dec, as well as Cape May character breakfast.

Wow, I didn't realize. Thanks for pointing it out, everyone! It must be pretty popular!

Beaches and cream doesn't have alot of seats... And it was fine for 22 years as a walk up... Actually made it fun and unique.

But...gotta have a res now...you draw your own conclusions

They got tired of all the people waiting in the exterior hallway outside?

the parks are continuing to be more crowded and they don't have enough dining locations?

The increasing cost of the other sit down meals has driven more people to the semi sit down locations, forcing them to raise their category of dining experience and thus the pricing?

I don't have to ask which one you will chose.

that sounds amazing...
might have to swing by there at somepoint.

i do like the captains grill...its not a bad option. of course crews cup is the best bar in WDW...honorable mention to Territory Lounge.

I pick option "E"....
their continued quest to reservation everything...to give the customer the impression they are "special" and "exclusive"...
while actually trying to predict everything to 100% sureity so they can cut staffing levels down to the bare bone

Ah yes, option "E"..... I stand corrected. On another note-- I was at the crews cup one of my latest trips and on your suggestion looked for a " steam pot", I believe it was, in the menu-- but much to no avail, did not find it.... did I mistake?

Pot braised mussels and clams are still shown as of the January 2014 menu...

Give it another try...I don't think they'd take that away.

Cape May Cafe has a great breakfast and dinner buffet. The breakfast buffet features some characters in their beach attire and whenever we have eaten there it hasn't been too crowded so you get some great character interaction.

The one thing with YC/BC is they don't have a great QS breakfast place to grab something in the morning, a good option is the Boardwalk Bakery across Crescent Lake, it has some delicious pastries for the morning.

Beaches and Cream has wonderful burgers and ice cream, but it is small and can get crowded. They do now accept ADRs and it is a great value if you are paying OOP. Not quite sure it would be the best use of a TS credit on the DDP though.
