First time at Disneyland, few questions

Hi all! We go in a month. Been to DW many times, many DCL cruises, but first time at Disneyland. I know at DW we would get there for rope drop and zoom over and wake up tinkerbell. Anything like that in Disnyland?

Also, going with DH, and our two boys 12 and 8. Doing a dining package for World of Color - are the ear hats and other stuff worth the $$?

As far as I know there is nothing like that but it would be awesome! I don't think near as many people have the glow with the show ears anymore I think the made with magic stuff is more popular now, one of our trips i was going to get the kids the glow with the show ears but the kids were smaller and the ears are kind of heavy
