Hi there,
We are going to DLP on Sunday 9th December and staying until Thursday 13th December. We have never been before.
We are staying at hotel Santa Fe and travelling by air.

It is my daughters 4th birthday on Monday 10th and we have booked her a birthday lunch at Cafe Mickey.

My daughter is disney princess mad

We would really like to see everything, please could anyone give us advise, hint and tips.
We are also going to book dinner at Auberge De Cendrillion when we get there if we can.

We are taking £400 (converted to euro's) will this be enough money?

How many of you are going? Me and my daughter went to dlp for 4 days/3 nights and i took approximatley 540 euros, i came back with 150 euros. The only meal we had pre paid for was the one included in buffalo bills. Are the cafe mickey and the other restaurant already paid for?

I personally think that had i not had such a fussy eater who is incredibly choosy with food I would have liked to of made a bit more of the meal times going in restaurants etc but we just survived on macdonalds and the odd pizza at the pizza place so we didn't really spend that much on food really. I would imagine it would cost alot more if you did eat in other restaurants.

Just depends how much you are going to be spending on souvenirs I personally always take more than I think I would need.

me hubby and daughter already paid for the charachter lunch because its her birthday on the tenth but when we get there want to book to have dinner withe princesess because she loves them just looking for as many hints and tips as i can get because dont want to miss out on anything when we get there

I may be wrong, but I don't think that you can be sure of seeing princesses at all of the character meals. Unless things have changed dinner at Auberge is the only character meal where you can more or less guarantee it (but as I say it may have changed and I may be wrong). Belle is always present at her story session behind the csastle (check with GS for times) although I think it is cancelled in bad wheather and I think she appears in her blue dress and not in her gold princess gown. Although at Christmas time there is a Belle's village so there may not be a story time. Good luck with your princess hunt

Hi, there's a similar thread running here, which has some info on meeting the princesses.

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1647088

Belle's village is very pretty and either Belle or Beast is available for a meet and greet at certain times, in November we caught up with Belle at her first meet of the day around 10.15am. princess:

Thanks for the advise.
There is just 3 of us going, myself, my husband and my little princess of course.

We really don't know where to start.
I've heard about fast pass tickets for the rides. How does this work?

Really woried its going to rain all the while we are there too. ahh :rotfl2:

I cant wait now, weve been looking forward to this for months :santa:

don't let the rain get you down! Take a few waterproof cape things and you will be fine...your princess is gonna have a fab time!

good luck and let us know how you get on! xxx

Hi,

It rained all day one of the days we were there last month - and you know what? You don't even notice it! We were so busy on the rides, meeting Belle in her winter village (who is absolutely beautiful in her winter gown), watching the special christmas shows, parade etc, and getting loads of character autographs and pics, that the day flew by, rain and all!

Elaine
