any thoughts about what I should preference when the time comes? Best view? Most quiet? Any inside info about a stay at Grand Flo Villas gratefully welcomed! Thanks

There isn't much of a difference even for noise. The balconies all will have noise from the ferries especially when it is ready to dock at the Poly. You might want to check out the VGF Villas and Views thread on here on the Resorts Board. If you are staying in the short wing you will face the beach pool and will have a better view of fireworks than those villas in the long wing that really only have a view of the Poly, TTC, and CR.

Just stayed there and the views are great from any room. We had a standard on the third floor and looked at the GF and the pool area. The noise was not noticeable and they were repairing the walkway at the time.

We have stayed twice and love the place. First trip was lake view of the construction of the Poly bungalows. Last trip we went with a standard view and I liked it better. Since we were coming from 4 feet of snow in New Hampshire, it was great to see palm trees and grass, we also had some water and the wedding info building, and parking lot.

If I were you, I wouldn't get too excited about requesting a certain room or section, that could lead to disappointment. Go more general, do you want lake or standard, upper or lower floors (having an upper floor, standard view lets you avoid getting a room adjacent to the back entryway or view right into the port couche (whatever it's called!).

Have a great time.

Beware studio 1524 handicap studio only 1 tub with shower no dividers in bathroom lots of grab bars all over the bathroom, very disappointing and inconvenient for trying to get ready. Concierge said people get these rooms with short stays and we had 3 adults not 5 still same points though we still needed the 2 showers poor planning on Disney a person in a wheelchair would not be able to take a shower no place to sit.

We had a lake view first floor and were disappointed with the view. Upper floor is what I would recommend. If we stay there again we will probably do standard view, though there a few undesirable standard views. If you look at some GF threads you will see a few standard views that have no view except roof of covered drive. I would NOT say views are great from any room.
