first solo trip

I just returned from my first solo trip and I have to say it was amazing!!

Had a great time, did everything I wanted to do and nothing I didn't. I ate at TS, had a character meal, took pictures with characters, pin traded, and didn't feel awkward during any of it.

Thanks to all of you guys, I read about the wonders of the solo trip here and knew that I had to try it. I never would have ever thought of it without the Dis and now I can't wait until I do it again. I'm thinking I can alternate it with our family trips because my Disney needs are a lot harder to meet than my families.

I'm so glad you had a good time solo. Isn't it fun to do what you want, when you want? I've been going solo the last ten years and I love it. Twice I had someone with me to share...but going alone doesn't stop me.

Thank you for posting! I go solo in 2 days . I was going to take my mom, but my grandmother got hospitalized so she backed out. I am a stay at home of 2 little boys and desperately need some me time. Friends think I am crazy to go to WDW for me time, but what better place!
I am staying at WL so the cozy fire with a book to read for down time just sounds heavenly!

Ohhhh, you all make me jealous - I've been on two solos and would love to go on another! Although going with just DD soon will be just as fun! Glad you enjoyed your solo, I recommend everyone do it at least once in their lifetime!
