I'm escaping wedding planning madness for a short weekend trip in September. This will be my first solo trip to Disney, so I'm wondering if anyone has any tips?

I travel a lot for work, so I'm used to eating by myself (yay Kindle!) and I'm okay navigating airports, roads, etc by myself.

Details: I'm planning on staying at Bay Lake Tower. I currently have California Grill & Bistro de Paris booked for dinner. And I think I'm doing Friday at Epcot and Saturday at MK...Sunday? We'll see what I feel like before heading to the airport. I also have an AP.

Relax and enjoy! Or go commando!

It's all about you!

Love my solo WDW visits!

Do what you want, when you want and don't listen to anyone else or worry about what anyone thinks! That, for me, is what a solo trip is all about. :thumbsup2

Use single rider lines.:)

If you're eating a CS location and see people looking for a table, invite them to sit with you (if there's enough room). It's a fun way to meet people when you don't feel like using the Kindle.

I love going in September! It will be a great time for your relaxing solo trip.

I would say that you should definitely do whatever you feel like doing. Just do the things that you like to do...or that you have always wanted to do without getting caught up in the "I'm at Disney and I HAVE to do x,y,z"...only do them if you want to. Go at whatever pace you want to...get up early or sleep late based on what you want to do. If you want to spend some time just sitting at the pool or strolling around DTD...go for it. One thing I did on my last trip that I hadn't done since I was little was wait in line to see the characters at Epcot...lol! It was a lot of fun and I go a bunch of pics with me and the characters (they'll take pics with your camera). It was a lot of fun.

On my next trip when I go solo I plan to spend a lot of time sitting in the parks and just soaking up the atmosphere. I'm planning on spending some time at AK to really explore all the nooks and crannies that I never have. Also want to really dig in to each of the countries at world showcase in Epcot and try a bunch of meals at places I have never eaten before. It's definitely going to be a much more relaxing focused vacation...with all my favorite rides mixed in for that Disney feel...lol!

Have a great time planning and an amazing vacation!
