First Sailing After Drydock Question

We're on the first sailing of the Magic after she comes out of drydock. Do you think she will be at the terminal on Friday or will she still arrive sometime in the early mornong of Saturday? It was be great to see her as we come over the bridge!

Also, do you think there's any chance they will let us on early since there are no passengers disembarking?

Just a couple of random thoughts floating in my head this morning.

The ship will probably be there on Friday, yes, but the actual arrival time I don't know.

I was on the Magic the first cruise after dry dock two years ago AND the first cruise after she was pulled out for the cleaning last year. It didn't seem to affect the time we were allowed on board. Boarding began around 12:15 both times, which is pretty typical.

So I was on the Magic in May 2002 only 1 year after dry dock?

Gee, I guess the ships get worn looking by being in constant usr 24/7.

I think it's one of those maritime law things - they have to be drydocked for inspection every 2 to 2 1/2 years

The first Magic sailing after dry dock in 2001 was the 12/8/01 sailing. The one after the cleaning was the 12/7/02 sailing.

Nancy, do you have a thread for the 12/13/03 sailing? If so, I've missed it...let me know!

Michele (with 1 'L' ) said she will be on the first cruise out of drydock this year. That's 10/11/03. And yes we have one heck of a thread going for that one.
