"cause this here's the wildest ride in the wilderness!" - Big Thunder Mountain

After the infamous ditching picture was sent to the hotel we walked over to Big Thunder Mountain and breezed through the standby line.

This cheered me up immensely. Did I mention Big Thunder Mountain is my favorite? After that it was time to start walking towards Crystal Palace for our 11:30am lunch ADR.

On the walk over we took advantage of a couple Photopass opportunities. The the lack of food was causing the kids to be less than enthusiastic about it. The photographer on Main Street in front of the caste hub was having trouble getting the pout off of their faces until he asked them to do an action pose, which turned out great.

The last photographer over by Crystal Palace turned out to be the photographer from that morning. He said that he had never gotten to photograph the First Family twice before. He was a great photographer and managed to pull some terrific shots out of my now slightly crabby kids.

I love this one it totally reflects what they were feeling at that moment.

We thanked him for photographing us a second time and went to check in for lunch.

Two updates to respond to? Wow!

Love Daisy's "We try" comment -- you have trained her well!

Great photopass pics in the rose garden.

Grrr about your family ditching you! :headache:

I never knew there was a goat on BTMRR. Thanks for sharing that since you know I ride that with my eyes squeezed shut. ;)

Another great set of photopass pics -- my favorite is the one with the kids doing action poses.

I really must contemplate matching the kids' outfits on the next trip -- the photos really make it worth it!

:rotfl: Aunt Pat was having a fit as I snapped that picture since it's at the very top of the ride. She wanted me to put the camera down and pay attention. :lmao:

:thumbsup2 Yep it was totally worth Joey going on strike. ;)

:rotfl2: I can't imagine taking pics during the ride -- I don't even like the kids to take their hands off the safety bars!

I haven't bought all of Chelsea and Connor's summer clothes yet...my wheels are turning...

I love all the pics.

How did Daisy get the lightest hair and the darkest complexion? :)

Foil and tanning beds. All three of them tan really dark, but both Daisy and I had been to the tanning beds before we left so she was darker than them at the start of the vacation. She got her hair foiled just before we left too, though she is usually blonde.

I'll post a picture from our 1st Disneyland trip when all the kids had dark hair having just been in a production of The King and I.

Just got caught up on the last two updates. I LOVE Big Thunder too! I dreamed of riding that ride and kept telling my DH about it...I remember it was always featured in the Disney World commericals when I was growing up-Mickey was in the front car. It is a child-hood memory and when I finally saw it and actually got to ride it, it was instantly one of my favorites!!! Such a blast!

I also laughed out loud (literally, almost woke up DH!) at the person asking Daisy in line if she always coordinates with her brothers, and then her response! :rotfl2: Quick witted girl!

Also, the Photopass pictures are fantasic-the colors of the outfits with the colors at the park are perfect. I really like the Tink one!!

Great updates, looking forward to your lunch review.

That's my favorite one. I can't wait to frame it and hang it in the new house.

Great updates, looking forward to your lunch review.

Coming soon.

Great photopass pix. Maybe the kids are just tired....up early.....crabby times 3 is never fun.....

I hope your meal goes well......

Subscribing, I love your trippie so far. I'm only on your arrival day but going back to catch up. You did a great job planning this trip and CSR looks great! I know you really wanted BWI though. How did you like CSR and would you go back??

Love Daisy's "We try" comment. :rotfl:

Big Thunder Mountain is my favorite too, especially love it at night.

Can't believe they ditched you :scared1:
And bought the picture without you :rotfl:
So, did they not buy the picture from when you did ride with them? :sad2:

The blue clothes in the castle picture look great. That will be a great picture to frame & hang. :goodvibes
I have never even thought about colors or coordinating, but I just may have to do a blue MK day sometime.

:flower3: Welcome!

CSR was ok, it's very pretty around there. The pool was a lot of fun. I don't think we would stay at CSR again, but that's because there are so many choices for places to stay and we would like to try more of them.

They hadn't bought it, but while they were on the ride without me, I went and purchased it.

I honestly did not think about color coordinating to the parks but it did work out that way rather well.

i had to laugh a the ditching sorry, but that just the sort of things my family would do,

im also going to try doing the co-ordinating colours in future its looks so good in the photos.

Look forward to your next update.
