Great update - I have yet to go to Sci-Fi..it's just not high on our list. Maybe it is something about the seating, but I'll try and remember to only order a burger and fries if we ever do go.

Hope the inspections go well...I know what a pain they can be!

I love the atmosphere at SciFi, but unless you get a burger their food is ok. I did love our milkshakes though! I've never seen a cop walking around there, too bad.

I love the atmosphere at SciFi, but unless you get a burger their food is ok. I did love our milkshakes though! I've never seen a cop walking around there, too bad.

The cop was funny. There were lots of other things people could get tickets for, like having to much fun, they were funny to read.

I love those photo booths!

The old Kmart where I grew up had one and my friends and I would see how many people we could pile in and then identify the body parts!
Now when I see them I have to drag whoever is with me into it! Ahhh, the memories!

Scifi dine in......I think it looks like a fun experience but I've heard so much negative about the food. Would you do it again?

Yes, because the boys really liked it. Honestly my hamburger and fries were fine, and the milkshakes and ice cream were good. It was just the other food that wasn't that great.

Good luck on the inspections and the move!

I hated when the dining plan complicated stuff - that was my least favorite aspect of it, since we did it to try and un-complicate stuff. Blech. So, yeah, that waiter would've completely ticked me off!

I'd forgotten you don't face each other at Sci-Fi. Not sure if that would bother me or not, tbh. But, we ended up just snacking at MGM/DHS, anyhow and didn't do any true meals there at all. I might do it when the kids are older and can appreciate the clips - I think dd was also a little young for them, maybe. Ok, and also if ds starts being more consistent about eating hamburgers!

We didn't snack much at DHS hardly at all, I think the kids each had a snack before LMA- Joey had a churro, Adam had a slushie, they can't remember what Daisy had.

Septic, plumbing, and fire all are approved. We will be sleeping in the new house tomorrow. The final building inspection isn't until Tuesday though.

Sorry about your SCI-FI experience. I thought about going for this trip and decided against it seeing that it was only DBF and me and we probably would not get a car anyway. (I heard that if you have a group under 4 they usually sit you at a regular table) I just thought the car thing would be a cool idea.

Sorry Sci-Fi wasn't a better experience. They truly seem to be hit or miss, you'd think Disney would try to get a really good restaurant in MGM that's 1 TS. I had us an ADR at Sci-Fi for our upcoming trip but cancelled it when we had to do our Candlelight Processional package that night. Still on the fence about even going to MGM.

Your burger looked really good though and so did Daisy's onion rings!

I didn't like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, give me Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka and the original Oompa Loompas instead.

The good parts of our Hollywood Studios day are coming up. I wouldn't skip it completely.

The onion rings were good. Next time I think I would order onion rings and a milkshake.
