When/if our contract passes ROFR do we have to make our first reservation by calling or can we use the website? Probably a dumb question but I could not find an answer.

Keep in mind, you can't make the reservation after passing ROFR. You actually have to wait until actually closing the transaction, DVC transfer account to your name, and loading of your points. Afterwards, you get a membership number, that you can use to sign up on DVCmember.com website, and than you can make your reservation online using the website.

Once your contract closes you will receive your account information by mail. But you don’t have to wait for the letter. You can watch the Orange County Clerk’s Office to see when the deed is recorded. Once that happens call member services and they should be able to give you your member number and help with web access.

If I remember correctly, when calling member services, you have to talk to administration. Even then you have to ask nicely. The people working on makingreservations, magical express, etc, cannot look it up for you.
But yes, calling ahead can get you into your account about 2 weeks before your letter arrives with your membership number.

A call can get you into your account, but it might take another 2-3 weeks for your points to appear if Member Admin. is still backed up with loading points.
