First Night - Offsite Hotel Suggestion?

Our first night booked onsite is 8/2. We are driving down and plan to drive most of the way on 8/1. Our plan is to arrive and drop our stuff off at our resort (CR) and head to MK around lunchtime. I'm now thinking I may prefer that we drive later and make it all the way to the Orlando area on 8/1. That way our morning can be a bit more relaxed as we make our way to CR. If we do this, any suggestions on area hotels? I was looking at the DS hotels, but we won't need the amenities. We need something with easy access to check in/out, clean rooms, free parking/no resort fee, perhaps close to a Starbucks for the morning. ;-) Maybe a Hampton Inn or the like. We like to drive and just book something when we're ready to stop, but I'm afraid that's not a good idea in August near Orlando! We'll be driving South 95 to 4 into Orlando for reference.

Any Marriott: Courtyard, Springhill, Residence Inn, Fairfield...

Or/(and) download the hotel tonight app, or (I just discovered) the website..

Thanks! I have not heard of this app/website; I'll check it out.

I usually feel good booking any Marriott or Hilton property. However, hoping for some specific hotel suggestions since there are SO many in the area! Something right off the interstate, not too expensive, won't be a problem with traffic the next morning, etc. :tink:

We are arriving late and just staying at POP rate was $123 and we will be close to Poly to check in and head to the park in the morning and drop our luggage.

I've used the app before, successfully. When I searched for it today is when I found out you can book online now, too. Especially great for same-night booking.

https://www.bing.com/search?pc=KAWI&form=AMZNS2&q=fairfield+inn+little+lake+bryan or Courtyard https://foursquare.com/v/courtyard-by-marriott/4bd8cf4711dcc92822eef733 or Springhill Suites https://foursquare.com/v/springhill...-in-marriott-village/4bd6e5dd1728986e582ab735 at the same location.

The offsite hotels are discussed on the Orlando Hotels & Attractions board; I’ll move this over there for ya. :thumbsup2

I like the Hampton Inn lake Buena Vista. It's a top notch Hampton (I've stayed at over 80 Hampton Inn properties!) and they have a Mickey template in the waffle irons in the breakfast area! I mean, what could be better than that! ;)

Thank you so much! I'll look at this one! We usually feel safe with a Hampton Inn, but some are definitely better than others.

This is the one I'm referring to, right off Vineland Rd:

I've had about a 90% success rate with quality Hampton Inns (which is amazing in the hospitality industry, IMHO). And how can you go wrong with 4 of these waiting for you in the morning?:
