We are planning on flying in on a morning flight in early February and staying at Pop Century. We would like to have a character meal our first night, for the kids (and us) to get into the Disney experience ASAP.
We are looking at 1900 Park Fare or Chef Mickeys, for an early reservation (5pm or earlier). Assuming that we have a choice when the 180 day window opens, which one would be better based on:
-Having a 5 year old and 2 year old on their first trip to WDW?
-travel time from pop century using disney transport?

Or would there be a better choice I haven't found yet??
Thanks!

I think Chef Mickey's will be enjoyed more than 1900 Park Fare. The two howtels that have the restaurants are near each other, so the time won't be a huge difference.
