Okay I thought I would check with the pros here at the Universal Boards for the questions I have.

We haven't been to Universal FL in 20 years and we didn't have kids. We were in Univesal CA about 6 years ago with the kids. So no IOA experience at all. We are going for HP and a few of the other headline roller coasters. We will be there for 2 nights June 17th and June 18th. Our kids are 17 and 14.

Based on the recommendations of family/friends who did HP last summer we have decided on HRH. I have checked on line prices and the rooms are pricey but doable since I really want the advantage of early entry so to me it is worth the money. However I was wondering if there would be any discounts offered? My guess is since the time we are going is prime summer vacation, Universal isn't going to be offering any discounts. We already have plans/reservations for the rest of the week so we are definately only staying those two nights, so no possibility for discounts due to a longer stay. Also no way to change our dates due to school/sports commitments at home.

We will arrive the first day about noon, go into the parks and do other things besides HP. On our second day will arrive before park opening and be positioned to tackle HP. I am guessing we will be able to cover all our HP needs on our 2nd and final day at Universal.

So in short, will there be mid June discounts for short stays and we will be able to experience all of HP in one early entry day?

Thanks to everyone in advance, I know there are seasoned professionals here! ;)

There might be a stay more save more discount. They should be out soon. Sometimes two nights will get you a small discount. Also, there are AAA discounts. The best way to get these is to call and ask.

Check the dates and rates 2010 thread and see if anyone got discounts for that time period last year.

Yes, you will be able to experience Wizarding World using the early entry. You probably won't be finished in the hour but you will get it done quite early.

the stay more save more rate i received for onsite hotels requires a 3 night stay.

those rates are really cheap!
i booked mine in january this year for my fall trip.

weekdays have a cheaper rate than the weekends do.

AAA will allow for room discounts for the onsite hotels and 10$ off food and merch in the parks.

i am paying $35 a year now for my AAA card.
I use it for online discounts, resturants, car needs, etc year round.

Arriving at HRH March 6-9th, will it be hot enough to swim? What is temp of the water?
