Next May we are going to WDW and taking my SIL who is 15. We are traveling with some friends too. I am the only one who has ever been to Disney before. When I was 3 I lived in Orlando and we went to WDW I have some vague memories of that. When I was in about third grade we lived in San Diego (Navy Brat can you tell LOL?) and we went to Disneyland, I then went back to Disneyland my senior year b/c I had a competition there.

We always wanted to take the kids but I don't have a lot of clear memories of my trip to WDW and I wanted them to be old enough to remember. They will be 7 & 8 when we go next year. We are staying for 5 nights/6 days and doing the DDP.

We will be able to do stuff all day with the kids and some nights but we will have at least one night that's just DH and I (The joys of traveling with an extra set of parents!)

When I was about 28 I went to WDW with a couple of girlfriends and then I got a family and didn't return to WDW until I was 48! I took my DS (10 at the time) with my sister for four days. Since I had last been the park had grown by 3 parks and lots of resorts. We spent our first ever on property WDW vacation and couldn't wait to go back so we could spend a full week. We didn't go back until 04, but then we went 4land/3sea package in 06 and in 2007 we spent a day in DL-Paris. We are now taking our niece (28) and her 3 small children for a week! I am excited to be the first to initiate them into the world of DIsney and magic!
