First family trip to Disneyland-Help!

We have taken out kids to WDW a couple of times...we want to take them this fall to Disneyland, but don't have a clue where to stay. We always stay on property in Florida, but I've heard it's not as important at Disneyland. Suggestions please! We have 4 kids all under age 6, if that narrows down our options any.

If you havent bought your Disneyland tickets yet you may want to check out this website, Getawaytoday.com you can use this to cutomize your stay for as many people are traveling with you, My family and I used this site to plan our trip coming up in May, We reserved a 2 rooms at the Courtyard by Marriot, very nice hotel stayed there once. With this site we booked our 4 night stay which included 3 day park hopper tickets for 3 adults and 1 child, free parking and free unlimited shuttle service to and from the park. After we confirmed our reservations they sent us free wrist bands and free lanyards for everyone in our party. All this was just over 1200. Its a great deal.

We plan on staying at the Park Vue Inn when we visit in january. While we have never stayed there before, the price, location and reviews are right.
