First family headed to Panama City area

The Obama's are headed to Panama City for a vacation. We had Michelle Obama's come here a few weeks ago, now they are all coming here for a vacation.

[PANAMA CITY BEACH — The first family will vacation in the Bay County area a month after first lady Michelle Obama tiptoed out to the oil free waters of Panama City Beach.

President Barack Obama and his family will travel to the area Aug. 14-15, according to the White House.

“Both the President and Mrs. Obama have traveled to Florida’s Gulf Coast in recent weeks and they look forward to returning for the weekend,” according to an e-mail released by a White House official. The e-mail added that the first family’s visit is a “personal trip” and “no public events are planned.”

White House officials declined to comment further or to say exactly where the first family will be staying.

We were just vacationing there for our first time last week. I hope they eat at Hunts Seafood-that place was amazing!!

Hope they don't let the little ones play in the sand too much. We went to the "clean" beach here in Pensacola last week and my son came home with oil on his legs.

Panama City is very "red neck"-ish

Cant believe they arent going to Seaside (which Celebration copied itself from), Watercolor or any of the upscale communities east of Panama city

I'm glad they get to vacation so much. I think it's important for the Pres to get a break away with family.
