Hey Jason....I forgot to mention. When I was at Mousefest I spoke to one of the people on the Executive Committee. He said they wanted to bring in a Dole Whip machine for the Mousefest 101 meet.

I told him your story and how you brought the Dole Whip and machine to the Indy meet. He said he read about our meet in the discussion forums and remembered we had a Dole Whip machine at the meet. I thought that was pretty cool.

Long story short though...Disney would not let them bring Dole Whips into the meet unless Disney supplied them. At that point it became too cost prohibitive.

That's pretty cool. Sheesh - Disney is becoming almost as proprietary as Apple!! ;) (posted from my Vaio while looking at my iPhone)

Thank you, it is wonderful! I have to finish it quick - it is 11am already and I haven't done anything except DIS!!! No cleaning, no shopping, and DD3 has been in front of the TV all morning (BAD MOMMY!!!) - better get to the real world...

It's almost 11:30 and I've barely DIS'ed.

I'm an Apple girl. I'm forced to use a regular PC while at work...but my Macbook sits on my desk right next to me...along with my iPhone!

I'm in a virtual waiting room waiting to buy Cubs tickets.... so, while I wait, I will ask a question.

We have a lot of electrical stuff that will need to be charged while we are sailing (cameras, phones, etc). Are there several outlets in the cabin or should I bring a power strip?

I brought a power strip on my last cruise and happy I did. It wasn't a Disney cruise so I don't know how many outlets they have, but I'm bringing mine.:thumbsup2

On Tracy's "Items to Pack" list that she posted in thread #4 or #5 (I saved it to my computer so it is readily available for reposting) she lists a power strip. I don't have many electrical devices...just one phone, one camera, one alarm clock....but I am still planning on bringing one. Cuz Tracy said so.

Yes, you will want a power strip.

Here's what they have for outlets. There are two outlets by the desk which you cannot plug anything with a wallwart in (too close to the surface of the desk. There is an open outlet behind the TV. There is one outlet in each of the bathrooms. Says it is just for shavers, but I can tell you from experience, they rarely work well enough to plug anything like a night light in. We always bring a power strip and plug it in behind the TV so it is out of the way, string the cord over to the desk and plug everything in on the desk. Works great!

Amazon's Kindle2 comes out on Tuesday 2/24. I might just have to get one for DW. She's wanted one for a number of months but we've held off for the new one. Would be pretty nice to take on the cruise. :goodvibes

Thanks AskTracy and everyone else!! Power Strip it is!

AskTracy do you keep a nightlight in the bathroom or in your cabin? I imagine the inside cabins get really dark at night.

I read somewhere there were some issues with the 2. I can't remember where I saw that though. My dad has a Kindle and he loves it.

In addition to the power strip, I throw in an extension cord. With multiple people getting ready it came in handy sometimes for using my curling iron.

Thanks Ann. I'll have to do some digging on this.
