Did you ride Millennium Force? That is the only ride at Cedar Point that scared me. It scared me because I get very close to passing out. I don't want to be the old lady that passed out on the ride.

My All time favorite ride...even though I was honestly a little frightened it was amazing. The front row is incredible and the back row is stupid fast...

Ohhh man that ride is nutz....I waited over an hour and got off saying I would have waited longer. 15 seconds of madness! I'll take Millennium Force over Dragster anyday though.

Good call Puck! I love that coaster 100% more than Dragster. Smoother and much more fun.

I visited Cedar Point all the time when I was a kid. Loved that place and still do, but just don't visit that much anymore. I rode Dragster a couple years ago. Talk about crazy. It's the only ride I remember walking off of and saying "I'll never get back on that ride again"

OMG I loved that ride. We were doing parent swap and my DH decided he didn't want to go so I used his swap. That is the big thrill I have ever had in my life.

Best Coaster ever. The front is lethal around dusk though. Unless you want a free facial with little bugs. Same thing if its misting. Might as well rub sandpaper across your cheeks.

Did anyone ride Maverick? I liked that one too.

I love Cedar Point. I always went there when I was a kid. We didn't make it this summer. It was sort of a bummer.

Last year we rode on the big wooden roller coaster (I can't remember the name right now). My son cried the whole time because he wasn't big enough to go on. Mean Streak is that it?
::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the Mean Streak!!!

My DH would ride Millennium Force over and over again. It is amazingly smooth.

Have any of you been to Six Flags in Jersey. They have a new (2003) Roller coaster called Kingda Ka
  • Type of coaster: Hydraulic launch rocket coaster
  • Height: 456 feet (tallest in the world in 2005)
  • Top speed: 128 mph (fastest in the world in 2005)
  • Location: Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey
  • Coaster elements: 456-foot tall top hat tower, with 90-degree ascent and descent
  • 129-foot second hill designed to provide free-floating airtime.

It is INSANE!!! We love it!:cool1:

The pic on Wiki makes it look very similar to Dragster. Which to me isn't worth more than a 30 minute wait.

I didn't like it the first three times, but its starting to grow on me.

I like the first drop. How it is more than vertical. It's definitely a different sensation.

That's too bad. CP really is fun if you like thrill rides.

Every time I price out a trip to CP it ends up being the same price as a quick Disney trip. So Disney always wins. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I know what you mean. It's especially hard since I talked my husband into DVC. The fall is the best time to go. The crowds are so much smaller and the hotels are a little bit cheaper.

That's why I love the Qbot six flags offers. It's like Universals front of the line pass.

I will not wait in line, for more than 15 minutes, for any ride. :snooty:
