First DVC reservation HELP!

Hi guys, Please help me relieve my stress over this. Tomorrow Feb. 7th we should be receiveing our paper work for our DVC membership for 180 points at AKL . We will be recieving 180 points from 2010 and then another 180 in August. Our plan is for my hubby and I to stay at AKL in late September for our 10th anniversary. We want to stay concierge for 4 days but I worry that by the time we get our paperwork sent back in it will be too late for us to get a reservation like that. Do you think this is impossible? what should I do?

There are only five two bedroom lockoffs on the AKV Concierge level. That means they could be studios and one bedrooms or two bedrooms. They usually get booked at 11 months out. Sometimes they are available at other times, but it's not a usual occurance. I'd bet you won't be able to get it this trip, but try for your next and book exactly at 11 months out. You might even want to "walk" the reservation to get it.

This is a situation where you guide (if you bought directly from DVC) wouldn't be able to help you either because he/she can't pull that room from unsold inventory. It doesn't exist in unsold inventory.

So, sit back, relax and plan for AKV Concierge another time and find something, perhaps Kidani Village savanna view, for your first trip.

If you bought from Disney directly, you can make reservations before you complete the paperwork.

You are probably already in the system if that is the case. Give MS a call today and see!

We added on through Disney and had points to make the reservation the next day.

AKV Concierge goes really fast and you may even be out of luck this late in the game for September. As mentioned, this is not even something that a guide can help you with because there are no extra rooms that they can pull from to fill this wish.
