I need a little advice. I am planning my first Disney trip ever with my DD age 6 for March 4-11. I was wondering what the weather will be like during that week (should I pay for H2O park tickets or will it be to cold???). Also wondering on crowd levels since it is a couple weeks before Easter Break here in Michigan. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have never been in March, so I can't help much. I just know that March is a big spring break month for schools all over. That may affect you crowd-wise.

Our first WDW trip was just this past March we were there the first week, before spring break began. We couldn't have asked for better weather, simply beautiful - high 70's/low 80's during the day. In the evening you needed a light sweater/jacket most of the time. Not a drop of rain, not even once.

We didn't go to the water parks, but we noticed a lot of guests that did. We went in the pool at Pop at few times - but spent most of our time in the parks.

I still packed for all four seasons not knowing exactly what to expect and I guess I still would, just because it is a time of year that is hard to predict.

Hope this helps in way...

We were there mid March last year and it was very warm. We could have easily gone to the Water Parks, but did have enough time. The kids did swim at FW in the evening and were fine.

But, I'm not sure if I would pay extra for tickets. If their not included in your passes I would just enjoy the resort pool.

For a while our family would always go the first week of March to Disney.
We really enjoyed the crowds and weather. The only drawback was packing appropriately for the wide range of temperatures you can experience then.
We had temps anywhere a low of 40 to a high of 90! Check the extended forcast before you go as a guide and put in a little of everything.

Enjoy your trip!

Tanya--Welcome to the DIS boards! You will find lots of great information here. The Resorts and Theme Park boards are very active. We have been to disney 3 times and have never been to a water park. There's just so much else to do, and our young kids are more than happy with the resort pool. I'm sure we'll go when our kids are around 9 or 10, but I wouldn't buy the extra Pluses on your ticket, especially if you get one of the new expiring tickets.

I've been wondering the same thing about the weather. Thanks everyone for the info. I'm looking forward to better weather than our past trips--December, too cold to swim and July, just too hot and humid.

Will it get as low as the 40s in mid to late March? I don't even know if it was that cold on our Christmas trip.
