 :tinker: Well we are back from taking the girls (SnowWhite & Tink) on their first trip to WDW. ---
We left 9-25-06 for the airport at 3am to catch 7am flight - DH mom drove us to the airport so that we wouldn't have to leave our car - we flew Airtran - no delays, no problems and arrived at Orlando a little early. Went to Magical Express Check in and had no problems, boarded the bus - watched a video which was great for the girls. We were at ASMo and checked in by 1130am so we had the luggage people hold our bags and we headed off to the Magic Kingdom! I was so excited! SnowWhite who is 2 1/2 and Tink who is 15 months sat straight up in their strollers when they saw Cinderella's Castle, then we were asked to be in the Family Funday Parade which was cute. It was very hot & humid that day and we were all tired so we walked to Fantasy land and rode ..... Snow White's Scary Adventure - it was the FIRST ride we went on and both girls were fine with it. Then Tink spyed DUMBO. So that was next & then the Cinderella's Horsey as SnowWhite calls it. We decided to go back to the hotel and take a nap.
Our room wasn't ready yet and it was after 3pm which is check in time and wouldn't be ready for at least another half hour so they found us another room, this one on the first floor instead of the 2nd. So we went to the room, SnowWhite was out until 6pm, Tink was up and refusing a nap, DH went to get a drink & food at ther food court - "hey hun, take Tink with you so I can take a little nap while SnowWhite is sleeping" DH "she'll be fine here & you can sleep - I'll put cartoons on for her" and DH leaves, not even 2 minutes later I am watching her walk around the room exploring - SLAM - WAHHHHH - she shuts her finger in the drawer - blood blister. SHe won't let me look at her finger and now she won't lay down either. She is running back & forth in the room. DH finally comes back and he watches her and shares chicken fingers with her I get to doze for about an hour, We head off to MGM for EMH, too late to sit for fantasmic so we headed over to Voyage of the Little Mermaid - The Girls absolutley LOVED it! I never thought I would get choked up just watching the emotion on the girls faces like that but I did. It makes me want to start planning our next trip - which will probably be next year but we will see - our last day Juliet wanted to go back in MK when we were taking the monorail back to the buses to go back to the hotel so we could head to the airport and DH told her next year we would come back - I am already excited!

Well our second day started with Breakfast at Crystal Palace - I was waiting to see what SnowWhite would do with the characters - she can be pretty shy sometimes - she & Tink would get so excited to meet them jumping up and down in their seats and pointing - then they would get very quiet and shy when Pooh & Tigger actually came up to them. The food was great! I don't know how they make them & I wish I did but I always love the fluffy eggs restraunts make and these were fantastic! SnowWhite loved that they made her a Mickey pancake. From there we headed to Fantasyland & Mickey's toontown - we rode Small World and PeterPans Flight, Pooh & walked around a bit then headed back for quiet time and to see if we could the girls down to nap - naps over - we headed to Downtown Disney after that and I put in my order for the personalized Mickey icon ornaments ( DH asked me to marry him in front of Cinderella's Castle in 2001 & we have an ornament that has Our Engagement on it - so I ordered one for our wedding, one for the day we got the key to our house, and one for each or the girls) I am glad I did this that night because they wouldn't be ready until the day before we were leaving. We ate at McDonalds because the girls wanted to and then played in the toy store - I didn't realize how many Disney pieces they had for Mr Potato Head! ( i headed back here later in the week to pick some up for xmas presents) I love having things shipped home! Not too much excitement but a fun day

it does sound like a fun day for you all......Thanks for reminding me of our trip with our grandkids.....Our granddaughter is now 17 but when she was little and saw Jafar she hid under the table ......where as our grandson would lunge for hugs...
Thanks again for your report

We had a great time through out the trip doing some attractions and walking around the shops then going back for quiet time and returning for an evening. I actualy caught a ressie at CRT for one morning and the girls loved it - we had done the princess storybook in norway too but this was better for them. Snow White was at Cinderella's Castle she was not in Norway - Snow White turned out to be both of my daughters favorite. We got Tink's hair cut at he Harmony Barber Shop. We ate at Concourse Steakhouse before MNSSHP, We ate at Whispering Caynon Cafe our last night and CHef Mickey's our last morning for my bday. DH ending the trip by reassuring SnowWhite that we will come back next year. So the planning begins again.........I'm already excited!

Wow, I can't believe you scored a ressie CRT. Sounds like you had a great trip.

I"m going to move you over to the completed Board. Hope to hear from you next year.
