First Digital switchover - Whitehaven - my home town!

Well, its finally (and slowly!) happening - the first analogue switchover to digital, and its starting in my home town of whitehaven!

Watching sky news before with some great views of the harbour, and my friend in a red top working in the tv shop!! Cool! And those bloody awful cumbrian accents!! Sorry, but I know I sound awful!

Anyway, if it ever comes up in a pub quiz question, I'll be sure to remember where the first switchover happened!

Do you mean Wukiton?? Assa marra huws thu dein?? In my best cumbrian accent!!

Totally foreign to everyon else I'm sure!!

I think as it was BBC2 they switched off most people will live without it for now, bet the elec retailers are making a killing these next couple of weeks.
