First day - what to do?

Arrive in area around 10 am, can't check into house until 4. Ideas? Will be tired from traveling, so something more relaxing would be ideal.

We plan on going to DTD our first day. You can walk around the shops, see the sights, let the kids play in the splash pad, grab some food

This is what we are doing also. We are arriving about 12:30 and can't check in until 4 so we are going to grab some lunch at DTD and go to a couple stores and let the kids play at the Lego store for a while. Then we will hit the grocery store on the way to the rental. Another place to go is Old Town. There are shops there, go-kart track and some rides.

Have you asked if you can check in early?

How about a movie at Downtown Disney? That was our plan last December, but, our house was not rented the day before and the owner let us check in earlier
