So yesterday I got into MCO right on time, about 11 AM. I saw a family surprise their son in the DME line. "Guess what? We told you a white lie. We're not going to grandpa's, we're going to Disney!" and the kid was so happy it made my day.

By 12:30 I was checked into All-Star Sports, which I like a lot despite not being a sports fan. I'm in football on the first floor, so I didn't get my room requests, but I can live with it. I do like being close to the main hall & pools. Might make me rethink LM at AOA for January.

I waited out the afternoon storm in the arcade ad food court, and then hopped on an empty bus to MK. When I got there, I beelined for Tomorrowland and got a Space FP. While waiting, I did Monsters Inc and Stitch. After that, FP'd Buzz and hit Carousel of Progress.

Then it was dinnertime at Liberty Tree Tavern. I almost forgot I had an ADR! And it was SO MUCH FOOD. I warned the waiter I eat very little (medications do that to me). It was great though.

After that, I FP'd Splash and hit small world, Philharmagic, and POTC, then FP'd BTMR, which I rode in the dark and rain. Super fun!

I searched all day for a Sorcerer Mickey hat. Finally I asked a CM an he told me about the hat shop on Main Street. Found it there. Thanks, Mr. CM! (I forgot his name.)

I didn't stay for MSEP or Wishes because I could feel blisters forming on my feet and wanted to take care of that early. I'm going to add hoppers to my tickets so I can go back to MK a different night. Maybe tonight after AK!

And now to dress and grab breakfast for another day. After all, there's a great big beautiful tomorrow~...

Second day! (in progress!)

Woke up super early and went to Animal Kingdom. I was one of the first people on the Safari, which was cool. Animals came right up to the vehicle! The rain started again while I was on the Safari, which is fine by me. I'm not made of sugar!

I used the single rider line at EE to walk on 3x in a row. Best roller coaster I've ever been on. The backwards part is amazing. Much smoother than any of the Mountains at MK. I love this ride. I'll probably do it again before I go. So good. I hope RnRC tomorrow is that good!

Dinosaur was rough and a little scary, but fun. Almost no wait for that either. Right now I'm waiting to see the 11AM Nemo show. After that I'm planning to FP Kali and see the 12:30 Lion King.

I'm amazed at how quickly I'm getting things done. I think the rain is helping me out. Plus, the wonders of touring plans and EasyWDW info!

I didn't end up doing Kali yesterday because I realized i forgot my change of clothes, but I did see FOTLK. It was pretty entertaining. The rain ended as I was leaving the park, but that's ok by me.

After AK, I took a rest at my hotel and then hopped over to Studios to scare myself a little on their thrill rides. I figured, EE was fun, so I'll trust Disney on ToT and RnRC even though I dislike drop rides and inversions.

It was a good choice. I love RnRC and did it twice. ToT was nowhere near as bad as I was fearing. I screamed a lot but it was fun! Don't be afraid! :D

I also saw Voyage of the Little Mermaid and the Beauty and the Beast show, both of which were awesome and made me feel super nostalgic. Those were two of my favorite movies when I was really young.

Dinner was at Boma. YUM. The prime rib you could cut with a butter knife. And zebra domes are delicious. Everything there was good and I stuffed myself!

Today I'm headed back to Studios to make the mad dash for TSM and re-ride RnRC some more! Maybe back to AK for another trip up Everest this afternoon? We'll see.

Oh, and a CM got me into the pin trading craze. I foresee myself spending too much money on pins!

Day 3!

Got up early, hit Studios and did TSM twice - one standby and one FP. Then I walked onto RnRC twice more. I met a lot of interesting people using the single rider queue. I wish more rides had those. I talked to people from Japan, people from Puerto Rico, and even some locals who were at the park. I enjoy meeting different people. :D

Two turns on Star Tours later, I was ready to leave, since it got hot. I went back to Sports, had lunch, went for a swim, and took a short nap.

For the afternoon, I went to Epcot. My goal was to conquer MS: Orange. I did green first, and then took some Dramamine and put on my Sea Bands. I heard so much about how sick it makes people, so I was nervous. Turns out I am not one of those people, because I felt fine. Yay!

I also went through Spaceship Earth and the Nemo ride. I love Nemo and I love how much kids love Nemo, so it was fun to watch the younger riders.

I took the boat back to Studios for my dinner at 50s PTC, where the food was excellent and they didn't play their little games with me, which I appreciated. (I take meds that suppress my appetite so I can't "clean my plate.")

Fantasmic... Well, I was seated for the 8:30 show. At 8:25, the sky opened up and soaked us all. No fireworks for me again tonight. :(

Tomorrow is my last full day here, and I'm spending it at Epcot.

Sounds like a great trip so far! Sorry about the rain:mad:
It sounds like its not to crowded.
Look forward to hear about what you did in Epcot. Maybe Soarin??

Yep, Soarin is definitely first on the agenda. I'm first in line at a turnstile outside Epcot right now! I'm going to make the mad dash over there, FP it, and then ride standby. Pretty much a repeat of my TSM strategy.

The crowds are moderate. I'm avoiding them using EasyWDW and TP data, plus the rope-drop/midday-break strategy.

I'm going to try fireworks-hopping tonight if I can - 8:30 Fantasmic and 10:00 Wishes. If i can get a seat close to the exit for Fantasmic I think I can do it! As long as the weather lets me, anyway. I wish it was possible to see all 3 shows in one night! But I can catch Illuminations on the next trip...

Wow! You are the energizer bunny! Lol!
I guess you will ride the monorail over to Magic Kingdom to catch wishes?
What r the monorail hours? Are they just running 1 hour after a park closes?
Where r you going to eat in Epcot?

Day 4!

My DME return info was on my door this morning. :( It's almost over. I keep telling myself I'll be back in just 140-ish days!

I ended up walking onto Soarin, and pulled a Fastpass afterwards. It was a fun ride, but I think people hype it a little too much. I guess it is very family friendly, though.

I did MS: Orange twice more, no nausea precautions this time. The pre show gets a little boring once you've seen it repeatedly, haha. The ride is still fun.

I also worked in some of the minor attractions in Future World - Living With The Land, Captain EO, and the thing with Ellen. Nice indoor timesinks.

Once it got super hot out, I went back to the resort for a nap. I am not tolerant of high heat - I'm best kept refrigerated! And I'm hoping to make it late into tonight at the parks.

As I was writing up to this point, I was in Magic Kingdom waiting for 4:30pm to come so I could pull a Fastpass for BTMR and then go use the one I was holding for Space.

After I rode Space Mountain again, I was waiting for my 5:30 BTMR time to come around, but at 5 the thunderstorm came and the skies opened up again, so I got soaked and headed to Epcot for my dinner ADR at Marrakesh. My shoes were totally unbearable, so I bought a pair of the infamous Mickey Crocs to get me through the evening. I actually wear Crocs so it's ok. :)

Once I got to the restaurant, I waited a good 15 minutes after being seated for anyone to take my order, but at least they brought me bread and water while I was waiting. The lamb shank was delicious once it got to me, though. And the dessert was pretty good too.

As I write this part, I'm on the boat to Studios to try and see Fantasmic if it doesn't get rained out again...

My plan WAS to take a bus from Studios after the 8:30 Fantasmic to one of the monorail resorts, then catch the monorail to MK from there. I don't know if I still want to try it - I might just stay at Studios for EMH.

I think the monorails run until 1 hour after MK closes, but don't quote me on that one.

Last night was another "iffy" evening! The 8:30 Fantasmic was SRO when I got there, so I shrugged it off and got in the single rider queue again for RnRC. Did that twice, FP'd ToT and got off just before 10. That Fantasmic was also SRO, so I left the park. On the bus back to Sports, another passenger got a text from a friend that said Fantasmic had been cancelled due to technical difficulties. I guess I made the right choice by doing rides instead, haha.

Today I'm going to Kona for breakfast at 9:00am, and then back to MK to finally ride BTMR again. I also want to get on the Peter Pan and Winnie the Pooh rides before I have to leave around 1:00pm. My DME pickup time is 3pm. I don't want to go back to the "real" world!!!

Departure day!

I had to finish packing super early this morning, do RAC, check my bag, and leave my carry-on at baggage services. I still made it to MK rope drop.

I grabbed a fastpass for Peter Pan and went over to Winnie the Pooh. These were my two goal rides today. After doing them both, I did BTMR again with a 5min wait and then did SM three more times - one fastpass, two standby.

After that, it got unbearably hot for me. I had to wear jeans today because all my shorts were dirty. So, I went over to DTD to do a bit of shopping. Right now I'm waiting for DME.

It was a great trip and I definitely haven't been depressed. I'll add a few pics & change the subject line of the thread when I get home to my actual computer!
