First day at new job went very well! Hooray!

I came home feeling so good about my new position. Incase you haven't seen my previous post I just started working at a girls shelter/home. The girls are all wonderful, each one has their little quirks but hey their teenage girls, but they all are so very sweet and kind. I walked in and five of them walked right up and greeted me and showed me their rooms, wow, I felt so good. We did a lot of training tonight, going over forms, rules, guidlines, etc but we also spent some time getting to know the girls and even sat down to dinner with them.
I am really excited and I think this job is one I will stay with for a very long time.

Thanks everyone! It was hard to go home last night a couple of the girls asked me when I would be coming back, am I staying tonight, etc... and I don't go back till Thursday overnight, so I really won't see them till Friday morning. When I told one girls she just looked down... yikes...
But Thursday should be fun, one of the girls asked for Barbies and I just happen to have a whole jumbo sized moving box full of them and tons of clothes so I'll be bringing that in to the house then, it was going to the garage sale but I think this will work out much better.
