First Dance Song and Dance

DD and her Fiance have picked their song for their first dance. It is EVERYTHING by Michael Buble it is a great song.

Here is a bit of a question for anyone out there who may know. What dance would you do to this music?? My husband and I took a few ballroom classes a few years ago and I have listened to the song over and over, and I think I know (cuz I look crazy here dancing around the living room all alone) anyone who has taken classes throw in your thoughts.

I would like to buy them a dance instruction Video of the steps so they could learn them, but need to know which one to get....HELP anyone

I think my friends used the same song (I know it was Buble) and they did the Rumba (well I was told it was the rumba but I couldn't tell they took dance lessons. )

I had it recommended by a few friends - it has several different dances on it. And on Amazon, it's got great reviews.

Our "song" is "I'll be Loving You Forever" by the New Kids on the Block - imagine the fast talking I had to do to get that!

"Everything" was our song too, i love it! I don't know much about ballroom dancing, but my mom's friend (who used to be a dancer) gave us a few informal lessons. I don't know what kind of dance it was, but it was basically a box step...in our heads we counted "slow...quick, quick....slow" and mixed it up with a few spins here and there and a big dramatic dip at the end .

we didn't start dancing right at the beginning of the song, for the first 30 seconds or so we walked out to the dancefloor, hugged and kissed and swayed for a little bit, before starting the actual dance that we practiced.

Thanks so much for the info...I LOVE Michael Buble, and when DD told me the song they picked I was thrilled. I have also found video's you can watch online to learn the steps. Corky from Dancing with the stars has a really good one, many of the ones you can watch are free if you have a username and password....
