I am on that sailing and part of the FE group. We have two groups so far and I don't think you will have any trouble joining. Since it is getting close to the sailing date you may want to go ahead and post to the page that a previous poster linked and introduce your self and let Tink know you want to join (she has been organizing everything). You will need to get to 10 comments(or posts) so she can send you a personal message with all the information for the group and get some information from you for the others.
