First attempt at panning

Here the better shots from my first attempt at panning. The event was the Motogiro America motorcycle rally starting in Monterey, CA in July. They started on Cannery Row and went down the coast towards Big Sur from there. Almost all the bikes are antique Italian bikes and were neat to see, I just wish it had been sunny and I had a better background. Tell me what you think.

I love this guy with the toothpick in his mounth

This guy had spark plugs instead of bullets in his bandolero

I tried an artsy phot and not sure what I think.

I love the pics...I think motorcycles make great panning shots. The only thing I would have tried different is a slower shutter speed.
