Did anyone catch the first 6 questions for the contest at wdwig.com? (The prize is a trip to WDW.) I just found out about this contest today...when questions 1-6 are no longer posted! Any help would be appreciated! Many thanks!

Unless you subscibed by the 15th of this month, you may as well not bother. http://wdwig.com/contest/swan1.htm you need to read the rules.

That only refers to the bonus question that they have (question #11 if you will). The rest of the contest (questions 1-10) is open to anyone who subscribes to the Allears newsletter.

And as far as I can tell, you can subcribe to the newsletter even right now and still enter the contest. It just says you need to be a subscriber, not by a specific date.

I don't think it is fair or in the sprit of the contest if you post the prior questions for all to see (or answers for that matter). I hope the original poster will consider removing their post w/ the questions.

At first glance I agreed with this. It seemed... unseemly. But thanks to the other posters I have reviewed the official rules. The relevant paragraph is, fortunately enough, the very first,

A series of trivia questions about the Walt Disney World Resort will be posted on this website July 1 through July 21, 2003. Each week the previous questions will be removed and not shown again online. Each player is responsible for keeping track of the questions.

To repeat: it is clearly the player's responsibility to accurately record the questions. If anyone wants to submit their entries based on the questions listed here (with or without the multiple-choices), it's up to them. Caveat emptor! It will come down to a random drawing since many, many people will have all 10. This is because it is a "take-home" test since in the very next paragraph it says:

Answers to all questions can be found on the pages of Deb's Unofficial Walt Disney World Information Guide (http://wdwig.com).

In the event someone posted their versions of the answers, 1) they may not be correct, and 2) if they were, all it would do is reduce the "answer-posters" chances of winning.

Just a note - if you go to the contest board, they usually post the question and the answer each week to this contest and others like it.

The DIS has a contest board? I have to start getting out more.

My world is in the drop down menu in the "Jump to a Forum" option at the bottom of each DIS page and there isn't a contest board listed there. I guess it's time for a new scorecard.
