Our family loves watching fireworks from our balcony. Is the view better from the Contemporary balconies than it is from the Bay Lake Tower balconies? Can you view fireworks at all from balconies at Grand Floridian (or their villas building), or do you need to view from their beach? How does the Polynesian balcony views compare to that of Contemporary?

The Poly and the Grand are both pretty equidistant from the MK, but the Poly's view is slightly better, IMO, as it's more head on. You can definitely see some fireworks from balconies from the Poly and the Grand (both regular rooms and the villas at both resorts). The Contemporary is much closer to the MK, and the view is not head on, so it's not like viewing in the park, but it's still pretty awesome. And yes, BLT has views of the fireworks as well.

Your best view would be from CR as that is the closest resort to MK. I wouldn't say the view from CR or BLT is significantly different from one another. I would say the Poly is probably the furthest away but you are basically looking right at the castle from their lagoon view rooms. Now that DVC has taken over the old Tahiti longhouse there are less lagoon views available at Poly. I think probably the least number of fireworks viewing rooms though is at the GF, just due to the positioning of the buildings.
