Fireworks on the 4th from OKW?

We are going to be at OKW on July 4th and have no desire to brave the crowds but would like to see fireworks from somewhere...Can you see any fireworks from OKW or Downtown Disney? We don't mind staring at them from afar.

There are areas at OKW where you can see the high fireworks from Illuminations (you can HEAR them from all over the resort) and a few of the fireworks from PI. I don't think you can see any of the MK fireworks from anyplace at the resort.

hulagirl: There are certain areas of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort where you can get a pretty good view of some the Epcot fireworks. CBR regulars may know the exact spots. DTD sometimes holds firework displays on July 3rd. Don't forget the activities at OKW during the day. We don't do the parks during the day either, but relax at OKW. The CMs parade around with decorated golf carts. There are extra activities for the kids and adults. DJ, Goofy in full patriotic attire for pictures etc. In the link below there are a few pics from the last 4th of July in the OKW album. See You there!

tiggerguy - the Boardwalk is our home but we closed on our contract too late to get it for the 4th. I absolutely love it over there! Have a great time! I will definitely visit some time during the week but I like the idea of relaxing over at OKW on the 4th...
