Fireworks music from offsite

I'll be staying at the Courtyard on Harbor in a room with a fireworks view. Given my kids' age and the jetlag, we probably won't make it to the fireworks in person, but is there a way for me to have the music playing as I watch from my balcony? Is my best option to find a recording of the fireworks on youtube and try to sync up that audio with what I'm watching live?

I don't think there is any where that Disney streams the audio for guests outside of the park/off-site. You're going to have to try to find an audio recording and then try to sync it up, but remember, the fireworks don't always start right on time and there is a bit of music and narration before the first fireworks appear.

Yeah, I don't know of any offsite music options other than youtube and trying to sync it up like you suggested. But, if all else fails I would put on some generic Disney music, should be better than nothing. Maybe like the Fantasmic music!

If you're sure your kids stay up for fireworks you could hire an in room sitter. People caution here that fireworks can be canceled, so you'd have to decide if the cost of a night without kids in the parks is worth it if the fireworks are canceled.

The music is on YouTube! You can either just find the video you like best and sync it the best you can, or there are websites that allow you to create an MP3 file from a YouTube link (dubious legality, but a pretty minor crime) and play it on your phone/iPod/whatever.
We did exactly that in Oct 2015 from the same hotel for both the 60th fireworks and the Halloween ones. Good luck, and PM if you need help!!

Thanks, all. I've found several videos on youtube, I'll just need to get it semi-synched. No need to rip the audio file, I'll just sit on the balcony with my laptop. Too bad the Disneyland resort television channels with the soundtrack aren't shared with the Good Neighbor hotels!
