I have a question about the Fireworks Magic Pin. I scored 240,189, came in second place, got my 1,000 credits, plus 375 for the 5th level, but did not receive a magic pin. Did something change? I searched the boards but nothing turned up. Any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Was it your first time with that score? It doesn't give it every time if not.

In all my fireworks mania, here's what I can best come up with as far as when you get fireworks magic:

The first time you get at least 240,000 but don't win
Every 10 times thereafter the above condition is met and
Every 10 wins

Hope that helps. :wizard:

Yes it does. Thanks SorcererDonald. :)

Everyone is right here. You can get your first pin when you get 240,000+ and rank second place or lower. After that:
*Every 10 wins with 240,000+ ranking 1st place
*Every 20 wins with 240,000+ ranking secong place or lower

If you go for the pin you will earn 675 credits for the first place. For the money, you get 1.3k if you place lower than first.

I think it is every 10 games either way! I get them every 10 win or not.

Yes, it is every 10 and not 20. I kept a spreadsheet actually during October, and that was how it went for me. I'm not entirely sure either that you have to have over 240,000 when you win in order to get the magic for every 10 wins and that it's not just counting wins, regardless of score. Unless my computer freezes, I don't finish under 240,000, so I'm not sure exactly what the score has to be for wins... :confused3

When you come in first you do not need to beat 240k, just have to come in first regardless of the score.
