I do not want to stand and stake out a spot for fireworks only to find that they cancel the show. If a party of three adults one with an ECV turned up about fifteen minutes before the show do you think we would be able to get a fairly decent spot about half way down Main Street where we can admire both the fireworks and the projections on the buildings. If so where would be the most likely place to grab such a spot.

I doubt it. You might try the area by Small World. Still, I don't think you will get a very good view if you are arriving just 15 min before the show.

No, sorry. Those spots are staked out a good hour or more and you'll barelyeven be able to move on Main Street, the street will be packed like sardines. I think to really see the projections well, you need to be no farther back than RefreshmentCorner, Jolly Holiday area, just my opinion. We always watch after Fantasmic but you dont get a clear picture on the water screens so we will TRY and set aside one night for parade and fireworks viewing somewhere in hub.

Sometimes you'll get an inkling if fireworks will be cancelled just going by weather conditions during day but not always...plenty of times we've already been in our pjs back at CCI thinking there wouldn't be any and then suddenly...
BOOM...BOOM..BOOM and we just sigh 🤣

I have had good luck sneaking under the rope on Main Street where they keep a lane open between Carnation Cafe and Starbucks, good luck

Just to clarify I don't want to see the projections on the castle, I have a separate night planned to catch those on the front of IASW. I just want to see the projections on the buildings along Main Street and watch the fireworks from afar, not up close to the castle. I was thinking about half way down Main Street back towards the Main Street Station, would this be doable with a late walk up arrival.

Not likely, especially with an ECV. Main Street is very crowded for fireworks.

I understand what you are saying, I didn't mention my wife uses an ecv and we had no problem getting in under the rope
