Fireworks- Is it my imagination?

We just returned from another great trip to WDW, attending F&W and MNSSHP.

I may be wrong here, but after viewing Hallow-Wishes, Wishes, and Illuminations, the fireworks didn't seem as grande on this trip.
One obvious thing was the reduction of the panoramic Hallow-Wishes finale.
Beyond that, there just seemed to be fewer awe-inspiring, "WOW" type fireworks, and none of those real huge jobs.

Don't get me wrong, Disney fireworks are still the best I've seen, but in comparison to previous years they may be cutting back.

Perhaps I've seen the fireworks so many times that I've grown accustomed to them??

Has anyone else noticed this? :smokin:

At MNSSHP on Oct. 20 we did see the huge panoramic finale, it was awesome, lit up the whole sky for quite some time!!

Interesting. We were at MNSSHP on the 27th, 30th, and 31st, and while there was about 120 degrees of fireworks during the finale, it was no comparison to last years nearly 360 degrees.

Maybe they reduced it as the days went on... :confused3

there was a post or maybe from the Dis home page that they are not going to be doing the 360 degrees fireworks anymore except on NYE and July 4th

Not me. Wishes and Hallo-Wishes were still 'wowing' on our last trip.

they stopped doing 360s due to transportation being shut down during that time and they wanted to keep the buses running.

they're just doing 180s now.

Hallowishes looked 360 to us on the 24th. But they were not when we were in the Magic Kingdom during a non Halloween party night. I wonder if some other variable is at work. :confused3

We were disappointed too! I missed the 360 degree perimeter fireworks. I also missed seeing regular Wishes on non-party nights.

Hey - I was looking for you at the Haunted Mansion at midnight on Halloween!!!
