We will be walking back from dinner at Goofy's Kitchen on Sunday evening April 25th about the time the fireworks start. What can someone tell me about the view of the fireworks from outside near the ticket booth area?

It is OK, but not sure you can hear the music or seem some of the lower castle effects. IMO if it your first time seeing this fireworks show, do it in front of the castle.

You can see them somewhat but it is absolutely not the same. The Remember Dreams Come True fireworks in particular were designed to be seen from inside DL and specifically in the hub. There are special effects and lasers that can only be seen from there or somewhere on Main Street with the right view.

People who have seen RDCT multiple times sometimes prefer other viewing areas (like IASW). But for a first time view you really need to go to the hub. :)

Thank you...we've seen it many times from within at various locations. We just aren't going into the park until Monday a.m. and I thought it would be kind of fun to just stop and take in the moment before we head off to our hotel across the street. popcorn::

That sounds like a great plan. Last Oct. we attended MNSSHP @ the MK early in our trip. Twice after our party we watched the great fireworks show from just outside the MK gates ~ they played the music + we had a better view than when we were at the party and we had a bench to sit on!

It's definitely not a terrible viewing area, and since you've seen them before I'd say go for it! :) Every time we've stopped there to watch, there have always been lots of others doing the same. After you've seen the show from inside the hub, it almost makes it more fun to try to find new and interesting ways and places to watch. :) Have a great trip!

It's an ok way to see the fireworks. You hear the music and there are many others seated out there. It's a good place to park your rear and breath before you head into the masses at DL :)
