Fireworks from Candy Cane Inn

Are the fireworks visible from the Candy Cane Inn?

I think if you are in just the right spot you might be able to see the tippy top of them, but otherwise not really. We couldn't see them at all from our room.

I haven't ever tried when we have stayed there, but I doubt you would be able to because of all the trees.

You can see the higher ones if you stand at the 2nd floor railing on the south side of the parking lot. The booms are pretty loud but it's pretty minimal at best. It's decent enough to stand there and watch but you won't get much more out of it than that. I've done it a few times just because I happened to be in the room and had nothing else to do.

No, not visible, but you can certainly hear them. Our first night there, we heard all the booming, DH went out to see if he could see anything. Our neighbor next door came out all white-faced and looking terrified. Apparently he had just come home from Iraq or Afghanistan (can't remember which) that week and kinda thought it was a mortar attack. The poor guy!

I'll agree with the ability to hear the loud booms. I recall the first time I stayed there and heard it. I totally forgot what time it was and thought there was a lot of people running around on the balconies.

However, the higher ones are certainly visible if you stand in the spot I mentioned in my previous post.

Yeah....we heard them but couldn't see them although we were sure hoping to.
