So my 180 day opening came and went on Monday (we're there 12/2 - 12/9) and I've been wanting to book the dessert party but it continues to say its completely booked. Even when I was online right when it opened.

I read on another thread that said they haven't released these yet. If that is true, when do they usually release them?

I guess I'm confused because it looks like its available to book online and I spoke with a CM that said "if it's not showing online, its completely booked" Does this really book up that fast?

Thanks!

Chances are, they haven't been opened, yet. They usually open these up on a bit of a delay, because of all the hard ticket parties during that time.

When will it open? I don't know.

I was wondering the same for the 4th. We did it at NYE... it didn't open up until about 30-60 days prior.

You can only book through September right now. I have been checking every day.

Ahhh, so I also am stressing about this as my 180 window approaches this weekend and I definitely want to do the dessert party for the first time. Well I see I won't be worrying about trying to get this now, well, at least this weekend.

I checked in Sept with what you said SaintsManiac (fellow whodat here as well) and I see most of the party dates up to 9/23 are open and have availability. I would assume that this isn't as hard to get, at least in Sept, with so many available slots open.

I see I will just have to check daily or at least weekly to follow along as the dates open up. It's crazy there isn't a more effective way for Disney handle this.
They need a Dessert Party twitter that sends out daily updates :).

We are in it together!

Okay great! Thanks for all the replies!

I was going crazy because this was a high priority for my family and the CM told me it was sold out already! Good to know that it looks like we'll be able to book this once they are available.

Where or where can the dessert party be? They now have Halloween and Christmas Holiday DP but nothing thus far for October? :sad2: I'm not so sure it's wise to buy tickets for MNSSHP and then Dessert Party tix for the same night? Isn't that a bit of a waste of a party ticket?

It does annoy me a bit that so many of the CMs have no idea what they are talking about. And not just for this issue either.

I think it's a waste and I will wait for the other ones to open. Others think it's a great use though so it will depend. I just don't want to pay extra on a night I'm already paying extra for other things.

Hard ticket event/party...We believe it's a overkill too and are waiting for October 11th so we can do the dessert party for HEA and have a regular night for MNSSHP. I know people love doing both together so it up to you.
Mike

When dates open, does anyone know if it happens at 6am or could it happen at any point during the day? I've been waiting for October and wondering if I'm wasting time checking at different times during the day. TIA.

Ok, we now have a FEA Dessert Party at EPCOT. I'm assuming it's taking the place of ISDP at least untul 10/30 but still no HEA Dessert Party. :sad2: I'm really interested in the FEA Dessert party because it includes some items not on the HEA DP menu and it also includes a ride on FEA. I would have to juggle my plans again though and I'm not sure I want to do that.

I just bit the bullet and booked the new FEA DP at EPCOT. It's looks good and it's only for limited time through 10/30/17. So now I will have to make sure I line up early for those HEA fireworks because I really don't want to do 2 DP.

This thread really helped calm me down! I could not believe there were no dessert parties available when I checked on my 180 for December! I've been checking routinely since then but now I have some hope that I didn't miss it!

I'm also thankful for this thread. When I saw that there were no reservations available in October, I thought I was just out of luck. But it turns out they hadn't been made available yet.

I just checked today, and reservations are now available in October, November, and December. I made one for mid-October, and I'm very excited to be doing this during my first trip to Disney World!

Yep, looks like they opened up reservations for the dessert parties on July 4th. I logged on to do my daily check, expecting to see nothing again, and was able to book the dessert party at Tomorrowland Terrace for Dec 11! :)
