Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace: Do They Dim The Overhead Lights?

In this picture, the overhead lights are on. I hope that was simply because the photographer needed the light for her set. Leaving the overhead lights on during the show would mute the visual effect of the fireworks.

So any DISers who have been, do they dim the lights at the seating area?

They are dimmed but not switched off. Most people tend to get up and walk towards the railing anyways so the light will be behind you. Unless you're in the front few tables, I wouldn't expect to be able to see the castle while being seated. The fireworks are probably in your line of sight, but if you're far enough back maybe not.
