I need help planning this for next January. I've heard that there's a fireworks cruise which comes out of the WL, takes you around the lagoon and then stops to view Wishes.

Has anybody done this cruise recently? If so, could you help me with information on price and reservations? We are a family of 4.

Thanks,

You need to go to the Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies Forum here on the DIS them go to the ILLUMINATIONS CRUISES-What they are--How to book--FIND ONE TO SHARE, even though you want the "Wishes Cruise" the information on this is also on this thread, these are called "Specialty Cruises" and all the information you'll need is posted on this thread, loads of information. Just click on the link below and it will take you to this thread:

There are several specialty cruises. The basic cruise is around $120 and can accomodate up to 12 people. This cruise is on a pontoon boat. You can also upgrade and have birthday cruises which include cakes, sodas, and decorations. That cruise is about $100 more. There is also a yacht called the Grand One that can be booked. You can call 407-wdw-play for info on any of these as well as the Illuminations cruises over in the Epcot area. These cruises can be booked at 90 days out. We love all the specialty cruises, We try to do at least one per trip!

Thanks for the info. We probably won't do the Illuminations cruise because of reviews claiming there was too much smoke coming from fireworks (my daughter is very allergic to just about everything). I'll check that thread right away!

After you get the reservation for the cruise say you want the the Wilderness Lodge firework cruise.

I'm guessing that I should book the 7 Seas Lagoon cruise by calling WDW-PLAY and not hang up without letting them know I want the WL cruise...because that's where I will be staying at. Right?

Right...you just need to get the "Specialty Cruises" reservation as quickly as possable then you can go into detail. If you have to you may leave from the Poly. CR. or Grand Floridian.

I was lucky to go on the Wishes cruise last March we loved it. We shared with several other DIS'ers, So the cost was reasonable.

Thanks MAGICinMYHEART! I'll try to book the Wishes cruise for the first week of January '05.

Thanks again,
