Fireworks at Chef Mickey's

This may be a dumb question but here goes......can you see the MK fireworks from Chef Mickey's? I have no idea and do you have to be sitting in a certain place to see them, if they are even visible? And about what time would we need to make a PS to see them? An hour before time for the fw, 2 hours before? Thanks for the help.

You cant see them from Chef Mickey's since it is on the ground floor of the Contemp. There used to be an observation deck by CG, but now it is only for CG customers. But I have heard there is another observation deck where you can watch them, someone else will be able to tell you where it is!

hi: did they move chef mickey's? it was on the 4th floor of the contemporary last time we were there (2000). you can't see the fireworks from there either.

I believe its on the 4th floor, and on our last trip a few weeks ago, we were seated up the stairs in the restaurant, they have a small dining room there, and our table and the table next to us could see the castle from our window, we were off to the corner of the room. We weren't there at the time for fireworks, though, and from our table, we had to lean over to see the castle, so basically, no, you cannot see the fireworks from Chef Mickey's.
