Fireworks and party at DTD

I have read that Pleasure Island holds a nightly "party" complete with music, dancers, countdown to midnight, and fireworks. Does the "street party" happen now? I know there is a planned NYE, but I am going mid January, so I would like to go at that time.

No... The PI, Every night is New Years, is no longer going on. They are doing a lot of construction and revamping PI so it is not being offered right now.

They WILL have an actual New Years Eve Party (which is a special ticketed event) but they are no longer doing the nightly fireworks/hoopla that they used to.
