We are traveling to Disney this December (me, DH, DD-5 and my dad) and I had planned for us to eat at CA Grill on the night of my birthday which is also a MVMCP night so that we could catch that fireworks show and enjoy a nice meal for my birthday.

Today I read on the Disney Food Blog that Ohana's is actually a better restaurant for viewing MK fireworks and I also read on that blog that Ohana's is one of the best 1 TS credit meals. So, now I'm totally :confused3 and am not sure which to do.

We haven't eaten at either before so both would be a new experience. It would be nice to have that extra TS credit (CA grill is 2 TS credits) for another meal though.

What are your thoughts?

I don't consider Ohana a better view. While the view is head-on instead of overhead, it's further away. There is also no observation deck or area for the restaurant, so unless you have a window table (which is not guaranteed) you would actually have to leave the restaurant and go down to the beach unless you want to go stand right behind the window tables while the show is progressing.

Thanks for your input!
