Fireworks after CM's?

We have dinner PS's for Chef Mickeys at 7:00PM. Im thinking it should time out pretty well to hang around until the fireworks start. But wehre could we go to see them? Im not too concerned about the music. I would love it, but my DS wouldnt know the difference he just loves fireworks.

You really can't see them from Chef Mickey's. I'd recommend going over to the Polynesian beach to watch them.

I was under the impression you could see them from the Contemporary. But hopping the monorail over to Poly sounds like a good idea too. Thanks for the idea.

We are looking for a place to eat the first day we arrive and then watch the fireworks. Any suggestions for a good place for a Saturday evening?

I also was curious if you can see any fireworks from the Boardwalk area? Thought about hanging out around Downtown Disney for the first evening, taking it easy, relax, eat and watch fireworks.

If you want to catch the monorail over to see the fireworks remember to leave a bit early. When the fireworks get ready to start they don't run the monorails until the conclusion of the show.

You can see the fireworks from an observation deck on the same floor as Chef Mickey's according to many people. Just ask the CMs where the door is although I assume it must be on the North side.

There is an observation deck on the top of the CR. CM is on the main concourse, but if you go up to the top there are doors out to the deck and you can see everything.

We made a PS for Ohanas on our first day. We dont arrive until 3pm so dont want to waste a park day. So we do want to see the fireworks. I heard we can view them from the beach at the Polynisian also.

Yep, there are two observation decks at the Top of the World by the California Grill but...

a number of people have talked about one at CM's level.
