Fireproof the Movie Opens This Weekend

Sherwood Baptist Church here in GA is releasing the movie Fireproof this weekend. This is the same church that made Facing the Giants, a SPECTACULAR film. I cried like a baby through that entire film (still do!) and didn't care who saw...LOL!

Fireproof is about a firefighter who struggles to save his failing marriage. My entire family is going this weekend. I hope this movie is half as good as Facing was. They are hoping for a great turnout on opening weekend so this movie will stay in the theaters for a while.

They'll have my support!

I have zip against Kirk's beliefs, but I don't like him. He was a snot when he was on Growing Pains. He became a born again Christian and he started pushing his beliefs onto members of the cast and crew. He had one of the girls on the show written off because she had posed for Playboy once.

I can't stand when people try and push their religion or politics on others.

Thank you for posting about the movie. I know and work with some of the people in the movie!!! I absolutely loved Facing The Giants and I know this one will be great as well.

It was so cool that I was able to recognize people I have met before or worked with before!!

I used to belong to Sherwood Baptist and many of the teachers in our school system are members there and were either in the movies or were behind the scenes!!

I thought a different actor was playing the husband. Just noticed the other day that Kirk Cameron was doing it. I don't care for him much, but plan on seeing it sometime, anyway.
