Fire Pits at the Resorts?

Hi all! Can anyone tell me which resorts have fire pits for roasting marshmallows?? Do you also know when they light the fires? We tried to do the one at OKW in November but it was at like 5pm but we got there at 7pm and missed it.

I know both Port Orleans have pits. The times vary due to season but are listed on the resort activity page. Not sure if you can find it on the boards though.

The Beach & Yacht have one on the beach. I remember it being around 7ish or so during the summer. It was still light out when they started.

The "original" fire pit is at Fort Wilderness and includes a sing-a-long and a visit by Chip N Dale! Stay for the movie afterwards....

Do you know how long it take to get from wilderness lodge to ft wilderness? Is it by boat or bus?
I have never been to either one, but we are staying at CR on our upcoming trip and planning on dinner at WL and to see the Christmas decorations. I didn't know the campfire at FW had characters! Is this a special event or just normal night routine?

There is a boat that travels between WL and FW. Then you have to take an internal bus to the Chip "N Dale campfire sing along. The boat ride is about 15 minutes long but you need to add time for waiting for the boat, walking to the bus stop, and taking the internal bus. I would give yourself about 45 minutes to get to the campfire.

Since you are staying at The Swan/Dolphin it would be easiest for you to go to Beach at BC/YC.

Chip and Dale live at Fort Wilderness so they are "home" every night after work. Bring your own smores fixins, the Fort has them for sale but they are expensive.
